Lie Angle is important to the length of the Golf Club NOT TO THE GOLFER !! If a golf club was properly aligned and you felt it was to Flat or upright, it simply means that club probably isn't right for anyone to use, not only you. Unfortunately, we can safely guess, you've never held a properly aligned golf club anyway.
